The purpose of the Embrace Life Ministry is to advance the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Church and to respond to Pope John Paul II’s call for a new evangelization, bringing about a culture of life and civilization of love, thus recognizing and promoting the dignity and sanctity of human life at all stages. Through the intercession of their patron, Saint Gianna Beretta Molla, this group conducts and supports activities that uphold and follow all the teachings of the Catholic Church.
 

As a member of the Embrace Life Ministry (ELM), you may also enjoy a devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe, “Patroness of the Unborn”. Depicted as carrying the Christ child within her womb, she exhibits the profound joy that is brought about by an absolute confidence in God – an assurance that through God, we receive the grace and strength to rise above any seemingly insurmountable situation. 


Parish Prayer Campaign: The Embrace Life Ministry invites all parishioners to participate in this monthly effort by volunteering to accept a statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas and Protectress of the Unborn, at the end of Mass. The statue, along with a lovely bag containing other devotional items, will be taken home for a month and used to inspire prayers for a greater respect for all human life from natural conception to natural death.  Sign up your family today!

40 Days for Life: Embrace Life Ministry participates regularly in the Indianapolis 40 Days for Life Campaign. During this time the ministry invites parishioners and families to join them in prayer for an end to abortion. Volunteers then pray at a 40 Days for Life vigil outside a nearby Planned Parenthood clinic. 40 Days for Life - Sign Up Sheet
