First Holy Communion Requirements at St. Alphonsus LiguoriChildren in religious education classes at our parish receive First Holy Communion in 2nd grade.
- 70% participation in classes, both at home and onsite, is required.
- One year of religious education is required prior to attending 2nd grade classes.
- Student must receive First Reconciliation and have certificate signed by priest (certificate is provided).
- Student should complete all First Holy Communion curriculum and have an understanding of the sacrament.
Homeschool Requirements
- Must provide curriculum assessments
- Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the sacraments through assessment submission after each lesson.
