Members at Saint Alphonsus Liguori have participated in building projects since 2007, completing homes in the surrounding communities of Advance, Thorntown, Fayette, and Lebanon, Indiana.
Homes built through the Habitat for Humanity project are sold to partner families at no profit with no-interest, 20 - 25 year mortgages. The monthly payments from homeowners go toward other projects for families in need. Members of the parish offer financial and labor support to complete projects in Boone Country. Item donations
Please consider Habitat for Humanity when looking to donate items. Donations can be used for projects underway and can be dropped off at Habitat for Humanity of Boone County or a pick up may be scheduled. Please contact the Boone County office at 765-483-5134 to arrange a donation. Items accepted include: kitchen and bath cabinetry and sinks; functioning or non-functioning appliances; interior doors, hardware or light fixtures and new building materials. Unaccepted items include electronics, furniture, clothing and toys.
