Thank you for serving in a ministry at St Alphonsus! We appreciate all you do to make Mass a great experience for everyone who attends.
Are you wondering why you are being scheduled at a Mass you do not go to? Perhaps you are scheduled during spring break and you plan to be on a beach in Florida at that time. There is a way to make sure this does not happen.
The Ministry Scheduling Program (MSP) has become the way we schedule all ministries (Altar Servers, EMOHC’s, Readers, Sacristans and Ushers). As with any software, it only works as well as the information put into it. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Please check your profile in the MSP and make sure your information is current, especially your email address.
Also, please update your preference items, such as when you want to serve, if you want to be scheduled with your family, when you will be on vacation, and set up reminders for the days you are scheduled.
Go to
https://www.zionsvillecatholic.com and under the MASS tab click LITURGICAL SCHEDULES, then scroll down to LINKS. If you have been here before and know how to navigate and go to your profile tab, great! Go in and make sure your information is correct. If you have not accessed the MSP before, there is a link called MINISRTY SCHEDULER SOFTWARE GUIDE: ALTAR SERVERS.
Even though you might not be an altar server it is a great guide on how to create a profile and update information for all ministries.
Some reminders:
The schedule is created about 2 months in advance. Make sure you update your vacation days and can’t serve days to meet that timeline.
Special Masses; Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Easter, etc. are self-scheduled. Please go out to the MSP and sign up when these events occur.
If you put in a sub request it is your responsibility to make sure that position is filled until you see that someone has accepted it. You might have to make a call to another minister if no one accepts your on-line request.
If you call the Parish office and change your contact information that will NOT change it in MSP. You must go out to MSP and update your profile yourself.
If you have a problem or need assistance please contact your ministry head directly:
