Easter Food Blessing

Bring your Easter baskets and/or food to the 9 AM Morning Prayer on Holy Saturday for a blessing!

This tradition arose from the discipline of fasting throughout Lent and the special Easter fast during the Triduum. Easter is the first day in which the fasting is ended and the Church is filled with joy.
