The Students at Stonegate Elementary School in Zionsville
launched a "Hope for Haiti" project this spring. Their mission was
to hold a fundraising drive to send Gift of Water units to Croix Fer,
Haiti. They surpassed their goal. Gift of Water Units will be
installed in the homes of 28 families due to their efforts!
Thank you to the leadership of a small group of students AND
participation by everyone at the school! Thank you to the McKenna
family, parishioners who knew the students were looking for a
community service idea. Thank you to Maribeth McCurren from the
Haiti Ministry for visiting the group and explaining more about Haiti
and the Gift of Water Program.
