Liturgical Season of Ordinary Time

"Tempus Per Annum" (Time through the year)

We are currently celebrating Ordinary Time in the Liturgical calendar. This is the period between specific liturgical seasons. Ordinary Time occurs following the Christmas season before Lent begins, and again following the Easter season before Advent begins.

The liturgical color for Ordinary Time is green, except during specially recognized holy or feast days.
